Reviews of the customers about the ebook:

  • Tammy Handlovic:
Before I purchased I asked if this came with online access I was told it did which was important bc the course I needed it for does online assignments on the publisher’s site “The point”. turns out the online access is only for additional study materials and not access to The point which would leave me needing to purchase separate online access which costs as much as the book does. for only a few $$$ more than this book set you can buy an online version that has the entire book AND comes with the online access needed. If you don’t need access to The Point then the book is fine.

This book was required for my class except they did mention ed. 13 instead, however, I decided to get the 14th edition b/c the price was the same for a new 13th edition and 14th edition so why not get the updated info for the same price? As stated, I got a new book and it was received in the plastic wrap and let me tell you these books, emphasis on bookS (it’s a bundle, volume 1 & 2), are heavy. I was not expecting the package to be that heavy. Books were clean, never used, no dents, or scratches. I haven’t read them yet, but I feel prepared to start reading ahead for this coming semester!! Good luck everyone 🙂
  • Jo Rose:
Obviously, I bought this book for nursing school. It arrived on time and in good condition. I’m not sure I’m qualified to judge the material, as I am a student of nursing, but one thing I can say is that it can double as a dumbbell (even if an awkward one). This book is heavy (12+ lbs!). Combined with all the other materials you’ll have to carry, it is REALLY heavy. The binding does not hold up well to use (probably because it weighs more than a newborn human), and unfortunately for nursing students, you’ll be using this extensively. There are several tools in the book that assist with the retention of the material. It can be somewhat laborious and seems to be laid out somewhat haphazardly, but this is one the school wanted… so… here we are.
